Flippa was recently released after serving nine years in prison in the United States. The deejay was sentenced  to serve 25 years in prison for his involvement in an international drug trafficking and money laundering ring that spanned from Jamaica to New Jersey and California in the United States in 2016 . where he was Required to serve 17 years, Flippa Mafia was released from prison early on parole on October 4, 2022.  where he was deported back to Jamaica.  Flippa Mafia was known for his onstage persona  for throwing cash into the crowd at events. he appeared  at Sting in 2012, during which he emptied the contents of a Gucci bag, throwing an alleged sum of $95,000 at patrons.
